What We Do
R&B Mechanical and Electrical Ltd (R&B M&E Ltd) are M&E Contractors, NICEIC Approved Electricians, Solar Panel Installers and Gas Safe registered Heating Engineers. We are also members of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA). R&B M&E Ltd are contractors for all industrial, commercial and residential installation, testing and maintenance services.
We are an accredited solar panel installation company through MCS and RECC and also OZEV registered installers of all types of electric vehicle charging points for homes and businesses. We are based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, and supply our services throughout the north of England and the wider UK.
Commercial Solar Panels
We recently completed this 213kWp commercial solar panel installation at a local business in Broughton, near Skipton, North Yorkshire. We used SolarEdge optimisers for this complex roof which mitigate partial shading and increase efficiency. These 520 panels will generate 165,000 kwh a year and saving the client £££ with payback in less than 3.5 years! That’s a return of 30% ⚡️ Plus whopping carbon savings of 77 tonnes per year.

We are MCS and RECC registered solar panel installers for all commercial and residential solar panel installations including ground arrays and roof mounted PV systems and battery storage configurations.
EV Home Chargers
We fit all makes, models and types of EV Chargers for residential customers. We are Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) authorised installers.
EV Workplace Chargers
We can undertake all required aspects of commercial EV charging point installation, from initial design and consultation to servicing and on-going maintenance.
Gas Boiler Engineers
We are Gas Safe Registered and undertake boiler installation, servicing and all gas safety checks for landlords and residential customers.
